From concert broadcasts to audio introductions, there are plenty of ways for you to dive deeper into your International Festival experience.

BBC Radio 3 broadcast

A number of the performances in our 2025 programme will be recorded for broadcast on BBC Radio 3 within Radio 3’s Classical Live programme. Once broadcast, the audio is available on BBC Sounds (UK only) for 30 days.

Audio Introductions to the 2024 Programme

For the 2024 Edinburgh International Festival we produced 40 audio introductions for you, called The Warm Up.

The Warm Up helps you dive deeper into a range of performances. These mini introductions are hosted by International Festival Director Nicola Benedetti and BBC presenter Kate Molleson, as they speak to artists, contributors and programmers, giving extra insight before arriving at the venue.
