Endea Owens at The Hub
One of the most exciting jazz artists emerging today takes to The Hub stage following acclaimed performances with the likes of Diana Ross, Solange and Jon Baptiste.
Rising star Endea Owens is an award-winning bassist and composer, who has been mentored by some of jazz’s leading artists. She is the house bassist for The Late Show, and the 2023 MAC Music Innovator for the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. With her sextet, featuring piano, bass, drums, saxophone, trumpet and trombone, she has performed at prestigious venues and jazz festivals in New York City and beyond.
In the second of their two concerts at The Hub, the sextet performs vibrant, original and joyful versions of beloved jazz standards. The programme may also include some of Endea’s own compositions.
Literally sparkling, Owens captivated the room with her masterful playing and exuberant charm
