Healing Arts Scotland - Rowan Alba Workshop & Gallery Tour at the Portrait
Find out more about Rowan Alba’s experience of Homelessness, Addiction and Mental Health.
We will highlight the resilience of some of the most marginalised people in Edinburgh and share how our learning, around societies complex issues, have been revealed through the long standing relationship between Rowan Alba’s CARDS and the National Galleries of Scotland.
In this drop-in session you will have the opportunity to do some simple drawing and collage activities in the library, and try out some of Rowan Alba’s latest interactive projects.
You will then be invited to join CARDS service-users & volunteers who will be positioned at artworks in the Portrait Gallery.
Discover which works are firm favourites and get to know the art and service-users in a relaxed setting.
