Creative Clinic is a process-based visual arts session held in the Outpatients and CAMHS unit at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children. We are inspired by something different from the National Galleries of Scotland collection each month. These confidence-boosting art sessions encourage families to notice small details – and play with materials and ideas. They help to create a warm, welcoming, and playful environment in the hospital. For this session Anna Murray (Families and Early years Co-ordinator, NGS) and Tonya McMullan (Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity) will share how these sessions have developed since they started in 2018; the impact, issues and evaluation around the project and share some resources for you to have a go at!
Creative Clinic @ the gallery: A National Galleries Scotland/Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity Partnership with NGS Learning & Engagement in partnership with ECHC is held at the Portrait (Farmer Learning Space)
