A satirical tale of forbidden love and shocking revelations of class and identity, it’s one of the most enduringly popular of Gilbert and Sullivan’s great comic creations, with songs including ‘Little Buttercup’ and ‘He is an Englishman’.

Scottish Opera bring together a fine cast of singers, including respected tenor John Mark Ainsley as Admiral Sir Joseph Porter, and bass-baritone Andrew Foster-Williams as Captain Corcoran, Commander of the H.M.S. Pinafore.
