The Tin Drum
The Tin Drum is a film adaptation of Günter Grass's surreal black comedy novel set in Danzig during the Second World War. Protagonist Oskar Matzerath is given a tin drum on his third birthday and decides he does not want to grow up in the senseless world he sees around him.
